I'm Asian, but I have been called twinkie, white-washed... anything implying that I'm not. And it just pisses me off. There's more to being Asian than wearing black flares and bebe, jeez. I mean... I joke about not being "Asian", but I've dealt with quite a lot of bastards on this subject. Grr.

That was one of the ideas I had in mind while drawing this. It's basically a big eff you to anyone who has called me names in a serious context. I also feel like I'm contradicting myself, but ANYway...

Yes, I actually own jeans with writing all over it. No, I didn't buy it like that. I got it about four years ago and after it started to get a little roughed up and ripped, I took out my sharpie and had my friends and myself draw/write all over it.

The original image was done by hand. The background of the jeans (close up for your entertainment ;) (Wink) ) and the color are from digital tweaking on Photoshop 7.

All in all, I dunno why race matters anyway. Honestly I know people who are complete mutts... m'self included! LOL I am part mexican, german, scottish... makes no matter none to meh! Mah friend, she is part black, indian, and german!

We are all people, and that's what matters right? Although... *Grin* I WISH I had some Japanese in meh though... I LOVE straight hair! Damn these curls! LOL
